Divisional Adiministration
        Saharanpur Division came into effect in April 1997. Divisional Commissioner is entrusted to look into the affair of a Commissioner which comprises of more than one District. At present Saharanpur Division have two Districts namely.

Divisional Commissioner is being assisted by the following Divisional Level Officers.
 
District Administration
        District Magistrate heads the revenue and Criminal Jurisdiction. Additional District Magistrates, City Magistrate and Sub divisional Magistrates, Tehsildars etc. is being deputed to help him in maintaining revenue and criminal jurisdiction. ADM (Executive) assists in general administration while ADM (F & R) assists in the matter of revenue Administration, Stamps, revenue recovery etc. City Magistrate is responsible to maintain and enforce law and order in City Area.
 
District Sharanpur comprises of four Sub Division (Tehsils) namely.

        Administrative and Criminal and revenue Administration and Recovery etc. Affairs at Sub divisional level is enforced by the subdivisional Magistrate with the help of Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars. Lakhpal is the village level officer for maintaining the village level and records and agriculture details while Collection Amin are responsible for revenue recovery of their area.
 
        For implementing the various schemes of State and Central Government District Magistrate is being helped by the various departmental officers responsible for implementation of schemes specific to their departments. The District officers are as follows:
