**Residency**

the individual undergoing verification must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh

**Required Documents**
A recent passport-sized photograph of the individual undergoing verification, along with proof of identity and proof of address (Accepted formats: jpg, gif, doc, docx, pdf, txt; maximum file size: 200 KB each).

**Fees**
A fee of ₹50 has been prescribed for Character Verification, Tenant Verification, Domestic Help Verification, or Employee Verification; this fee must be paid online at the time of submitting the application. Any application submitted without the requisite fee payment will be deemed incomplete, and no further action or processing will be undertaken regarding such an application.

**Application Processing**
Upon submission of an application for Character Verification, Tenant Verification, Domestic Help Verification, or Employee Verification, reports will be obtained from the respective Police Stations, the Local Intelligence Unit (LIU), and the District Crime Records Bureau (DCRB) corresponding to both the current and permanent addresses. Subsequently, a digitally signed certificate will be issued online by the District Police Chief (Senior Superintendent of Police / Superintendent of Police) having jurisdiction over the current address.

**Notifications for the Applicant**
The applicant will receive system-generated notifications on their registered mobile number and email ID at various stages: upon the successful submission of the application, upon the completion of the verification process by the concerned Police Station, LIU, and DCRB, and upon the final disposal of the application.
