Nakuleshwar Mahadev Temple is a prominent religious site located in Nakur, approximately 30 km west of Saharanpur district headquarters.

According to local beliefs, the Shivling installed in the temple dates back to the Mahabharata period. It is believed that Nakul, one of the Pandavas, established this Shivling during their exile. Since then, the deity has been worshipped as Nakuleshwar (Nakureshwar) Shiva, and the surrounding area came to be known as Nakur.

The temple holds great religious significance and attracts a large number of devotees, especially during the holy month of Shravan and on the occasion of Mahashivratri. During these times, devotees and Kanwariyas bring holy water from Haridwar and offer it to Lord Shiva.
